M Bozzec’s artistic practice focuses on drawing and the use of language.
The work explores the political and personal, investigating a poetic intersection between words and images.
Found phrases and images, gleaned from diverse sources, are the starting point for multi – panel installations of coloured pencil drawings.
Processes of reading, writing, collecting, and memory inform the work.
M Bozzec studied at the National Art School, 1992 – 1994 (Diploma of Fine Arts) and UNSW College of Fine Arts 1996 – 1999 (Bachelor of Art Education).
